About the Role
We are currently seeking an Integrated Practice Worker to join our team in Echuca in a full time 1.0 FTE (38 hours per week), ongoing role. This position will be providing high quality, safe and effective responses to Victorian victim survivors and children seeking support and safety, whilst keeping the perpetrator in view.
This role supports positive client outcomes by:
- Provide trauma‑informed, safety‑led support to victim/survivors and their children experiencing family violence, prioritising safety, wellbeing, empowerment and choice within all aspects of practice.
- Undertake comprehensive family violence risk assessment and safety planning using the MARAM and Integrated Practice Frameworks, coordinating risk management responses with Police, Child Protection, housing and specialist family violence services to keep victim/survivor safety at the centre.
- Work autonomously within collaborative, multi‑agency practice models, applying professional judgement to manage risk, assess brokerage eligibility, support safety planning, and advocate for victim/survivors across an integrated service system.
To be considered for this position you will have:

- At least two years’ experience in a family violence or related role is desirable.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the gendered nature of family violence including impacts on children and young people, in accordance with CNV’s feminist philosophies.
- Experience in providing case work to individuals and/or families experiencing complex needs and risk issues including a sound knowledge of referral pathways.
- The ability to work with limited supervision and exercise judgement and initiative in a fast paced and changing environment where practices and processes may not be clearly defined.
