About The Role

We are seeking a Reception & Administration Supervisor to join our supportive and collaborative Corporate Services team. This is an ongoing opportunity, available full‑time (1.0 FTE), based in Bendigo. Reporting to the Head of Risk, Infrastructure & Administration, this role provides day‑to‑day leadership and coordination of reception and core administrative functions.

You will support a small team to deliver welcoming, trauma‑aware front‑of‑house services and provide high‑quality administrative, facilities and systems coordination across the organisation. The role contributes to safe, inclusive and well‑functioning workplace and supports positive experiences for clients, staff and partners.

This role would suit someone who enjoys leading people, coordinating systems and workflows, and working at the intersection of service, organisation and care. It will appeal to someone who values collaboration, fairness and inclusion, and who wants to contribute to a progressive organisation committed to equity, safety and social change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day to day reception and front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming, safe and trauma aware environment for clients, staff, visitors and partners.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the Reception & Administration team, including workflow coordination, rostering and day to day problem solving.
  • Delivery of core administrative, facilities and systems coordination to support smooth organisational operations.
  • Maintain operational compliance and record keeping relevant to reception and administrative functions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen systems, processes and ways of working that support staff wellbeing and service quality.

About You:

You are organised, approachable and comfortable working in a people‑focused role. You enjoy coordinating people, systems and processes, and bring a calm, respectful and solutions‑focused approach to your work. You value fairness, consistency and care, and understand the importance of confidentiality, safety and inclusion in front‑of‑house and administrative practice.

You Will Bring:

  • Relevant qualifications in business administration or a related discipline and/or demonstrated experience in reception, administration or corporate services coordination.
  • Experience supporting or leading an administration and/or front‑of‑house team, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain service continuity.
  • Sound administrative capability, including record‑keeping, documentation and use of digital systems such as Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Clear, respectful communication skills and alignment with CNV’s feminist values, commitment to equity and child safe practices.
